Where does the data come from?
From your own accounts and our own crawler. Google Search Console gives your real clicks, impressions, queries and average positions; Bing Webmaster Tools gives Bing clicks and the inbound links Bing reports. Core Web Vitals come from the Chrome UX Report and PageSpeed, and site health from RareMatter's crawl of every page. We don't buy third-party estimates, and every number is tagged with its source.
Do I have to connect Search Console?
No. The site audit, speed checks and Fix Studio work without it. But Search Console is where your Google rankings, clicks and queries come from, so we strongly recommend connecting it. It is free.
How is this different from an SEO checklist tool?
Checklist tools hand you a long list of warnings. RareMatter reads your Search Console, Bing, speed and crawl data together, ranks every issue and opportunity into a single action plan, explains it in plain English, drafts the fix, publishes it on WordPress when you approve it, and measures the clicks it earned.
What does the AI do without being asked?
On paid plans, after each scan and Google data sync it compares what changed. When something matters, like a page dropping out of Google's index or clicks falling after an edit, it investigates and leaves a short write-up on your dashboard, and it writes your weekly report. These background checks do not use your monthly AI answers. On every plan, including Free, it measures each fix 28 days after you apply it.
Will the AI make things up?
It is built not to. Every answer must cite evidence from your audit or your connected data, and it says what it could not check. It never invents rankings or traffic: if Search Console is not connected, it tells you so instead of guessing.
Does it change my website?
Only when you say so. Fix Studio prepares each fix for you to approve. On WordPress, the free RareMatter SEO plugin publishes an approved fix with one click, and one click undoes it. On other sites you paste it into your CMS. Either way, the next scan checks it went live. Robots settings are never changed automatically.
Is there a free plan?
Yes, and it needs no card: one website (25 pages per scan, one scan a day), your Search Console data and 10 AI expert answers a month. Upgrade when you want more. Solo billed monthly also starts with a 7-day free trial, once per account: a card is required, nothing is charged for 7 days, and you can cancel before then to pay nothing. Other plans are charged at checkout; cancel any time. Plans start at $15 a month (Solo), or $150 a year, which is 2 months free. The AI visibility check and sample report stay free without an account.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Billing at any time and you keep access to the end of the period you paid for. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
