Honest failure mode
Frontier calls need provider credit behind them. If a Pro call cannot complete — no credits, a retired id, a hiccup — you get a live free answer with a note saying so, never an error page and never a silent downgrade. Anonymous requests for Pro models are declined up front with a clear message.
