Connect your key

BYOK: run frontier and custom models on your own provider key.

Connect

Open Dashboard → Connect models and paste an OpenRouter-compatible key (starts sk-or-v1-…). It is verified live against the provider before saving; a bad key is rejected with a plain explanation, never stored.

What unlocks

All four Pro frontier models plus any custom org/model id your key can reach — pick them in the workbench and chat pickers, or pass them to /api/agent.php. Replies served on your key are labeled your_key, and provider billing lands on your account, not ours.

Storage and removal

Keys live server-side in your account row and are never sent to the browser — the dashboard shows only a masked hint like sk-or-v1…3475. Hit disconnect anytime to wipe it instantly; frontier pickers lock again immediately.
